New Competitive Rates! Pay Range: $42.89 - $55.52 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the Schenectady area to treat children in a school setting.
• Deliver a comprehensive treatment program.
• Identify and refer students for related services (audiology, medical, etc. as appropriate).
• Participates in the student’s annual review process.
• Assess a student’s needs through the continuum of care and provides appropriate educational and treatment recommendations.
• Completes all documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility's compliance standards.
• Participates as part of an interdisciplinary team that works closely with parents and teaching staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Speech Pathology Therapy program with a Master’s degree.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship preferred.
• Might consider a CF whose had strong school-based peds placements.
• Certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
• Experience with pediatric patients is a must.
• Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
