Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatric)

About the role

Compleat Kidz is the largest and fastest growing multi-disciplinary pediatric rehabilitation treatment organization in North Carolina. We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech, and ABA Therapy services to children birth to 18 years of age in our 18 clinics using a play-based model.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• 1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered.
• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Active North Carolina Licensure in SLP and ASHA certification.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Accurate documentation in EMR system.
• Detailed and thorough communication with child's healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
• Assess and make recommendations regarding appropriate assistive technology and/or adaptive equipment as needed.
• Acts as a supervisor for CFs and SLPAs in the clinic.

Physical Demands

• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
