About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessments and treatment in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Supporting residents across disciplines
- Delivering individualized care plans
- Collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation teams
- Completing facility onboarding and documentation in line with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CFY eligibility
- Active Alabama license or eligibility
- BLS certification
- Preference given to candidates with CCC from ASHA
- Experience in skilled nursing
- Familiarity with dysphagia management
- Familiarity with electronic records
Key duties
- Providing evidence-based speech therapy services focused on communication and swallowing safety for older adults
