Speech-Language Pathologist CFY - Travel Contract

About the role

A Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessments and treatment in a skilled nursing facility, delivering individualized care plans and collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology services to support communication and swallowing safety.
• Support residents across disciplines and contribute to resident-centered care.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams.
• Complete facility onboarding and documentation per clinical and regulatory standards.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver care plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Eligibility for CFY placement.
• Active or eligible Alabama state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia evaluation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Experience supervising CFY clinicians.
