Speech-Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessments and treatment in a skilled nursing facility. This role involves supporting residents across disciplines, delivering individualized care plans, and collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation teams in a suburban-rural environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care to improve communication and swallowing safety
• Complete facility onboarding and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver individualized care plans for residents
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams
• Perform documentation and maintain accurate records
• Contribute to interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CFY eligibility
• Active Alabama license or eligibility
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia evaluation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Supervision experience
