Speech-Language Pathologist CFY - Travel Contract

About the Role

A CFY Speech Language Pathologist provides assessments and develops treatment plans to enhance patients' communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech and language evaluations.
• Create and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Support patient communication and swallowing improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Alabama state license or eligibility.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, if applicable.
• BLS certification may be required.
• Experience or willingness to work in a skilled nursing environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with geriatric populations in long-term care.
• Familiarity with nursing documentation systems and team communication.

35 guaranteed hours weekly.
