About the role

Under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, provides evaluation and treatment for communication disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
  • Administers diagnostic tests and implements appropriate treatments.
  • Advises physicians and patients of test results.
  • Trains for competency on performing videofluoroscopic swallow studies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required by date of hire.
  • Temporary Speech-Language Pathology License (California) required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Shift: Day (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri).
  • Working Hours: 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM.

Worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente's Authorized States policy.

Pay

$28.07 - $36.27 per hour. Kaiser Permanente strives to offer a market-competitive total rewards package and is committed to pay equity and transparency. Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data, internal alignment, and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
