About the role
The Special Education Ed Tech III position at Beacon Learning Center/Day Treatment requires a current Maine Ed Tech III certification.
Responsibilities
- Supports students in accessing technology tools and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborates with teachers and other staff to integrate technology effectively into classroom instruction.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of educational technology trends and best practices.
- Assists students with the use of adaptive software and assistive technologies.
Requirements
- Current Maine Ed Tech III certification.
- Experience working with special education students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other educational technology tools.
Skills
