Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an IEP
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs students
• Communicate with parents and hold structured IEP meetings to meet all requirements
• Make accurate decisions using students' academic performance data to meet students' needs
• Show flexibility and work as part of a team
• Maintain regular attendance

Requirements

• Special Education endorsement codes: 105, 461
• Able to use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to communicate with parents and hold structured IEP meetings
• Able to make accurate decisions using students' academic performance data
• Flexible and team player
• Maintain regular attendance
