Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an IEP
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs students
• Hold structured IEP meetings with strong communication and adherence to all requirements
• Make accurate decisions using students' academic performance data to meet students' needs
• Show flexibility and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Maintain regular attendance
• Interact with students in a positive and effective manner
