About the role
The SpEd. CDC Teacher will provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and related service providers to support student learning.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by law and school policy.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and assessment.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
