About the role

Join Amgen’s mission of serving patients. As a Specialty Representative, you will act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products. This role involves providing current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products and effectively communicating their clinical and economic benefits. You will achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, delivering branded sales messages, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Additional responsibilities include servicing and managing accounts, ensuring product access, resolving or triaging reimbursement issues, maintaining product contracts, and providing feedback on marketing strategy and sales activities. You will also develop territory plans with your District Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing strategies and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.
  • Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products and communicate their clinical and economic benefits.
  • Achieve territory sales targets through Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies.
  • Deliver branded sales messages and execute planned programs.
  • Schedule and follow up on medical educational programs.
  • Service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
  • Maintain product contracts and provide feedback on marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and analyze territory plans in collaboration with the District Manager.

Requirements

We seek a go-getter with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR
  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field that is not sales-related OR
  • High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field that is not sales-related.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for the Specialty Representative in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $89,880.00 – $121,602.00. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
