Specialty Pharmacy Manager

Summary Of Position

The Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for specialty pharmacy services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving performance improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, and leading a multidisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals and exceptional patient outcomes. The pharmacy manager will serve as a Compliance Officer for the specialty pharmacy program and a Supervising Pharmacist.

Education And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required.
• Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration is required.
• Outpatient and/or Specialty Pharmacy experience required with at least two years of pharmacy supervisory experience.
• Serves as Supervising Pharmacist.
• Eligible for Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or similar certification.
• Must be familiar with 340B drug program.
• Must have knowledge of rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of Outpatient Pharmacy Management Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Epic Electronic Health Record system, preferred.

Pay Range

$148,000.00-$185,000.00
