About the role

The Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative will be responsible for selling Intrarosa, Femring, and Femlyv to OB/GYNs throughout an assigned geographic territory in Austin. The role involves engaging healthcare professionals, office staff, and decision-makers in face-to-face discussions to promote assigned products, maximize selling potential, and meet or exceed sales goals. Representatives will develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers by educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications.

Responsibilities

  • Promote assigned pharmaceutical products (Intrarosa, Femring, Femlyv) to OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage healthcare providers, office staff, and decision-makers through face-to-face discussions.
  • Educate healthcare providers on product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient use of products.
  • Plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within the assigned territory.
  • Work independently, exercise good business judgment, and address territory opportunities.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time within a 2-hour radius of Austin, with occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

  • BA/BS (or higher) from an accredited college or university; focus in business, life science, or clinical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales experience, OR outside/field B2B sales experience, OR previous experience as a Labor & Delivery Nurse or other clinical professional with current relationships with OB/GYNs in the assigned territory.
  • Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within an assigned geography.
  • Strong and persuasive business communication skills with physicians and providers.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion.
  • Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) applications is preferred.
  • Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This posting includes a base salary range representing the low and high end for this position in the U.S.
