Specialty Court Liaison

This is a remote position; however, preference is given to candidates who reside in Arizona. Some local travel throughout Arizona will be required as part of the role. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Position Purpose

Collaborate with courts, county administrators, providers, law enforcement, and other system partners to implement coordinated and effective judicial processes impacting enrolled members. Serve as the primary contact for assigned courts and system partners and liaison between the system partners, members, and the company.

• Monitor the performance of the providers of Justice System services.
• Establish baseline data; collect, analyze, and report outcomes and progress in reaching program goals.
• Verify justice system provider services are delivered in accordance with contract expectations.
• Support the coordination of services among system partners, including crisis providers and intake agencies.
• Identify gaps in services to justice system-involved members and develop and oversee the implementation of program initiatives to address gaps in services.
• Conduct root cause analyses and rapid cycle improvement processes.
• Conduct cross-departmental and cross-system collaborative meetings to execute initiatives and resolve system issues.
• Receive and respond to external justice system partner-related issues in a timely manner.
• Request corrective action plans from providers that are non-compliant and/or fail to meet contract requirements.
• Troubleshoot service delivery and coordination issues on behalf of justice system partners.
• Educate justice system partners regarding policies and procedures related to referrals, website education, and problem-solving.
• Implement and monitor project plans to meet goals and timelines.
• Develop innovative solutions to justice system issues, including the implementation of pilot justice system programs in response to identified gaps in services or program development needs.
• Promote the implementation of specialized Evidence-Based Practices to meet the unique needs of justice-involved members.
• Advocate for the implementation of Peer and Family Support Services, Peer and Family Run Organization development, wrap-around and community-based services, and “Road to Recovery” services geared toward helping members live successfully in their communities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, criminal justice, social sciences, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience in a behavioral health managed care setting, including 3+ years of experience focused on working with programs and services associated with the Justice System.
• Demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing adults with SMI and knowledge of community reentry programs services.

Pay

$56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
