Specialty Care Nurse (Full-Time)

About the Role

The Nursing Secretary NT II supports Registered Nurses by observing and documenting patient conditions and assisting with patient care under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with daily living tasks such as meals, personal care, and mobility to aid recovery and care plans.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients to appropriate locations in line with care plans.
• Assist with elimination needs, including ostomy care, enemas, and condom catheters for patient comfort.
• Maintain unit inventories of supplies and equipment to ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Ensure fall risk patients have proper identification and safety signage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Certification by the North Carolina DHHR, Nurse Aide Certification, and BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
