About the Role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role involves promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, and collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and modify care plans based on patient responses. The nurse participates in ensuring patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, medication use, and post-treatment care.
  • Participate in activities supporting safety, quality, compliance, and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary.
  • Licensure: Must obtain nursing licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited program.
