About the role

The Group Air Specialized Travel Consultant at Ovation Travel delivers exceptional travel service for corporate business customers. As part of a high-performing team, you will provide first-call resolution, high-quality customer service, and creative travel solutions using available tools and technology. This role is part of a highly skilled virtual team of Group Air Travel Counselors, offering true accountability for service relationships and customer experiences while maximizing supplier revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end booking process, including ticketing and order fulfillment, via telephone, messaging, email, or back-office systems.
• Provide exceptional traveler care with a strong service focus, particularly for high-end and VIP travelers.
• Ensure accurate completion of traveler reservations and systems documentation per company standards.
• Act as the first point of contact for travelers and arrangers, setting a positive tone for their experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in international fares, exchanges, refunds, scripts, and ticketing.
• Support client needs around group air reporting, including air matrices, arrival/departure manifests (air/rail/hotel), post-trip reconciliation, flight concentration, and ad-hoc reports.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and independently while maintaining compliance with legal standards, including mandatory training and sanctions.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced, demanding group travel environment, multitasking across multiple accounts.
• Express enthusiasm, energy, and adherence to company ethics, values, and compliance guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support as part of a travel consultant team, ensuring a positive traveler experience.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an international corporate travel consultant with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong, recent SABRE skills.
• Customer orientation tailored to high-end, VIP travelers.
• Ability to understand and communicate client travel policies.
• Proficiency in executing data quality control requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Internet savviness and openness to feedback.
• Knowledge of international fares, exchanges, refunds, and ticketing processes.

Schedule

Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 12:00 PM–9:00 PM ET.

Pay

The US national base salary range for this position is $46,200.00–$85,800.00. Actual base salary will depend on factors such as scope and complexity of the role, relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
