Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React frontend components including metric dashboards, pivot and rollup views, data tables, filtering interfaces, and export functionality.
- Develop Python backend services and REST APIs that form the application layer between the frontend and underlying data services.
- Integrate the application layer with upstream data services and APIs ensuring accurate and performant data delivery to the frontend.
- Partner with Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers to translate frontend requirements into data contracts, influence upstream table design, and ensure the data layer meets application needs.
- Participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, and production deployments.
Qualifications
- 10 years of professional software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience with React and modern frontend development, component architecture, state management, and API integration.
- Proficiency in Python for backend service development.
- Experience with full SDLC including code reviews, source control, CI/CD, and testing.
