About the role

Monitors and audits the product manufacturing process to ensure product quality. Responsibilities

• Monitors food manufacturing processes to ensure product quality.
• Audits product mixes and final batches for correct ingredient levels and adherence to customer or company recipe.
• Evaluates raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using recognized product identification tools and processes.
• Audits product labeling to ensure compliance of customer or company specifications.
• Audits net weights and finished product temperatures.
• Inspects product texture and consistency.
• Obtains samples from each mix for laboratory analysis.
• Reports deviations to production and Quality Assurance management for resolution.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

• 1+ years of food manufacturing experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or technical degree preferred.

Skills

• Basic PC skills required.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Pay

$18.21 - $20.94 hourly, non‑exempt.

Schedule

• Work in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant; environment may be wet or dry with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
• Requires walking and standing for long periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
• Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
