Specialist, Paid Social (California State Lottery)
About the role
Canvas Worldwide dares to be the challenger the ad industry needs. Recognized as one of Ad Age's "Best Places to Work" for three consecutive years, Canvas Worldwide is an independent media agency committed to providing creative solutions for brands that challenge the status quo. Our clients include Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, MGM, Zillow, and McDonald’s.
The Specialist, Paid Social is a position where you will focus on developing a deep understanding and expertise in Social Media—specifically paid media across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, and Search. The Specialist will assist the larger team to execute paid media tactics, optimize campaigns, and manage budgets. Social media is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week medium, so the work is fast-paced and often ad hoc. The Specialist is the subject matter expert and will participate in strategic conversations with various teams across agency, client, and partner teams including Strategy, Digital Investment, Analytics, Programmatic, and Linear (TV/OTT). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across both Search and Paid Social as you complete a predetermined checklist to determine your advanced mastery of each channel. Your ability to identify trends, stay abreast of industry advancements, and engage with new partners and vendors to seek out innovation and opportunity is key to your success.
