About the role
The Operations Specialist position is a junior level role intended to develop talent for growth within our organization and represents a great opportunity to learn our business and operational management.
Responsibilities
- Provide Operations support to branch management.
- Aid in customer billing.
- Complete Inventory receiving and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with purchasing department on procurement issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Research and resolve supplier invoicing discrepancies and offer accounts payable support.
- Support order management.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, in a business-oriented discipline preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
- Ability to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.
- Able to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work alone and with a team.
- Must be able to read and communicate in English for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Qualifications
