Job Summary

Operating and maintaining the trash and linen chutes for the tower and operating room.

• Proper care and cleaning of chutes
• Care and cleaning of different types of carts
• Types of floor care and general cleaning
• Proper bagging of trash and linen
• Using spill kit for blood and body fluid cleaning

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required
• Valid current SC driver’s license required
• Industrial Power Truck Training and Certification or certification within 2 months of employment required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good hand/eye coordination
