As a Material Handler Specialist, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, handling, and moving products in temperature-controlled environments. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in freezer and cooler warehouse environments.
  • Move, store, and handle inventory while maintaining product quality and inventory accuracy.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to complete order fulfillment and inventory transactions.
  • Support shipping, receiving, stock replenishment, and material flow throughout the distribution center.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity, quality, and customer service goals.
  • Assist with inventory audits, process improvements, and overtime needs to support customer commitments.

Basic Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment.
  • Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems.
  • Previous experience working in freezer, cooler, or cold storage warehouse operations.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory auditing experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work a fixed schedule and required overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from -15°F to 40°F, with frequent movement in and out of freezer and cooler areas.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to walk extensive distances during a shift.
  • Ability to work in varying noise-level environments and around warehouse equipment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.79 - $29.65. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
