Support Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Material Transfer at AZ’s Redwood City facility. This role supports materials used in R&D, clinical manufacturing, and commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct activities and interactions consistent with Company values and in compliance with the Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards relevant to your role.
  • Complete all required training on the AZ Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards on time.
  • Report potential issues of non-compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with AZ Corporate Policies and Directives, site Standard Operating Procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice (cGMPs).
  • Maintain a safe work environment and perform work in accordance with site Environment, Health, and Safety (SHE) policies and procedures; immediately report potential unsafe conditions to management.
  • Track inventory and usage rate on current system (SAP).
  • Receive, inspect, and log GMP Materials & consumables, spare parts, and miscellaneous supplies.
  • Maintain efficient flow of materials, inventory, and staging to manufacturing operations.
  • Create, update, and/or modify SOPs.
  • Write up investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
  • Handle shipping and receiving of Clinical and Commercial products and R&D materials.
  • Perform incoming inspection of GMP materials.
  • Manage perpetual inventory including physical inventory/cycle counts.

Requirements

  • High School graduate (or higher) with at least 3 years of direct material handling and shipping/receiving experience in bio/pharma or medical device discipline.
  • Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is a must.
  • Good knowledge of international shipments (import/export).
  • Familiarity with Import/Export HTS classification and EEI declaration & filing.
  • Forklift certification and a class C driver’s license with a good driving record are required.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge, or the ability to learn, computer systems such as TrackWise and SAP.
  • Ability to prioritize work activities to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to accomplish daily tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule availability to meet production support when needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and data integrity is essential.

Skills

  • License to operate relevant vehicle(s) (desirable).
  • DOT Hazmat and IATA/ICAO Dangerous Goods certification (desirable).

Pay

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $56,120.80 to $84,181.20. Positions offer eligibility for various incentives, including short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles, and commissions for sales roles.
