Responsible for
- Completion of tasks with minimum supervision
- Reporting conditions affecting building services and safety
- Aiding in site tours to identify maintenance issues
- Fulfillment of People Inc. guidelines for maintenance practices
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Working at multiple locations
- Inspection and notification of property deficiencies
- Recommendations for additional services within budget
- Performing routine custodial duties
- Inspecting property and public areas for debris
- Responding to weather-related circumstances
- Completing minor repairs and maintenance
- Painting and minor plumbing repairs
- Performing general lawn care
- Repairing parking lot surfaces
- Completing Maintenance Request Forms
- Assisting with furniture setup
- Conducting preventative maintenance
- Renovating vacated apartments
- Checking fire safety equipment
- Assembling necessary tools and supplies
- Immediate clean-up of work area
- Reporting material shortages
- Informing Project Manager of equipment problems
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year related experience
- Valid Driver’s License meeting agency policy
- Broad mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge and experience
- Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Lifting requirement of 50lbs
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
