SPECIALIST, FACILITIES

Responsible for

• Completion of tasks with minimum supervision
• Reporting conditions affecting building services and safety
• Aiding in site tours to identify maintenance issues
• Fulfillment of People Inc. guidelines for maintenance practices

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Working at multiple locations
• Inspection and notification of property deficiencies
• Recommendations for additional services within budget
• Performing routine custodial duties
• Inspecting property and public areas for debris
• Responding to weather-related circumstances
• Completing minor repairs and maintenance
• Painting and minor plumbing repairs
• Performing general lawn care
• Repairing parking lot surfaces
• Completing Maintenance Request Forms
• Assisting with furniture setup
• Conducting preventative maintenance
• Renovating vacated apartments
• Checking fire safety equipment
• Assembling necessary tools and supplies
• Immediate clean-up of work area
• Reporting material shortages
• Informing Project Manager of equipment problems

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year related experience
• Valid Driver’s License meeting agency policy
• Broad mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge and experience
• Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Lifting requirement of 50lbs
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
