Position Purpose

The Specialist, Digital Marketing develops and executes integrated digital marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, protect reputation, and support organizational priorities. This role builds strong stakeholder relationships, crafts compelling narratives, and delivers clear, consistent messaging across external and internal channels. Through strategic storytelling, leadership support, and campaign execution, the Senior Specialist helps amplify impact, engage audiences, and ensure alignment across marketing, events, research, education, membership and other lines of business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, website, social media, mobile and other digital channels in alignment with broader organizational and marketing strategies.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused marketing content and copy, including emails, social media posts, website and landing-page content, mobile app content, campaign messaging and other promotional materials.
  • Manage marketing and content calendars for assigned business lines, coordinating deliverables, timelines, approvals and dependencies across internal teams, agency partners and business stakeholders.
  • Support the promotion and launch of WorldatWork research, working with Research, subject-matter experts, Communications/PR and agency partners to translate key findings into engaging digital content, promotional campaigns and derivative assets.
  • Execute marketing initiatives that support membership acquisition, engagement, renewal and retention, effectively communicating the value of WorldatWork membership across audiences and channels.
  • Develop and execute marketing content and campaigns supporting courses, certifications and other education offerings, partnering with business stakeholders to understand product priorities, audiences and enrollment goals.
  • Develop creative and content briefs and coordinate with internal creative resources and agency partners on campaign assets, research reports, digital experiences and other marketing deliverables.
  • Maintain and update relevant website, landing-page and digital content for assigned lines of business, ensuring information is accurate, timely, engaging, optimized for the channel and consistent with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team on audience targeting, campaign execution, customer journeys and performance optimization, using data and insights to continually improve content and campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and extend content across channels and formats, maximizing the reach and value of research, education, membership and other organizational content.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships, proactively manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and keep stakeholders informed of campaign status, timelines, requirements and deliverables.

Social Media Strategy & Content

  • Develop and maintain a consistent social media presence that supports public relations, brand visibility, and thought leadership goals.
  • Plan, create, and publish high-quality social content across priority platforms in alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Amplify key announcements, media coverage, campaigns, events, and leadership perspectives through coordinated social promotion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify timely, relevant content opportunities and ensure message alignment.
  • Monitor social media performance, audience engagement, and platform trends to inform optimization and recommendations.
  • Support integrated campaigns by aligning social content with PR, communications, and marketing initiatives.

Corporate Communications

  • Assist in developing clear and compelling communication materials including speeches, executive messages, Q&As, and announcements.
  • Support crisis or issues-related communications with timely, consistent, and accurate information.
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging guidelines across all communication channels.

Content Strategy & Storytelling

  • Identify storytelling opportunities that highlight organizational impact, innovation, and milestones.
  • Write high-quality content such as thought leadership pieces, blogs, case studies and social content.

Internal Communications

  • Support internal communication campaigns, including newsletters, staff meetings, employee updates, and change communications.
  • Ensure internal messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with culture and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
  • Proven experience in media handling and securing high-quality press coverage.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and verbal communication.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of digital PR, social media strategy, and influencer engagement.
  • Knowledge of brand messaging, content development, and editorial standards.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats.
  • Comfortable publishing content to all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and leveraging the analytics for improved performance.
  • Skilled in developing engaging content tailored to various audiences.
  • Navigate complex global communication challenges with agility and sensitivity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus with a target of 5% of base salary.
