About the role
The Network Lead L3 Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the enterprise network operations, specifically focusing on SDWAN technologies using VeloCloud and Cisco Meraki platforms. Expertise in Cisco Routing Switching, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, is required. Additionally, experience with the Meraki Dashboard for managing MX, MR, and MS devices is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize SDWAN networks using VeloCloud and Cisco Meraki platforms.
- Implement and maintain Cisco Routing Switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Oversee the deployment and management of Meraki Dashboard for MX, MR, and MS devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of multivendor network environments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, including firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions.
- Utilize Cisco DNA Centre and Meraki Analytics for network monitoring and optimization.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in SDWAN technologies, particularly VeloCloud and Cisco Meraki, is required. In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routing Switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP is essential. Experience with the Meraki Dashboard for managing MX, MR, and MS devices is also necessary.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SDWAN and multivendor environments, is required.
Skills
- Expertise in SDWAN technologies, especially VeloCloud and Cisco Meraki.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routing Switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with the Meraki Dashboard for managing MX, MR, and MS devices.
- Hands-on experience in managing multivendor network environments.
- Knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), load balancers (F5, A10 NetScaler), and DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions.
- Experience with Cisco DNA Centre and Meraki Analytics.
