About the role
Discover a more connected career as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at UtiliQuest LLC. You'll provide critical support to the AR team by managing incoming payments and ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.Responsibilities
- Import and process customer billing data accurately.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable transactions to maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare and deliver detailed analytical reports on billing and AR metrics.
- Assist with client account reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Generate and distribute invoices in compliance with contractual terms.
- Review, verify, and update client contract changes and service agreements as requested.
- Manage and maintain billing scrubbing rules to ensure data integrity.
- Document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to AR billing functions.
Requirements
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or an Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access
- Experience with Solomon accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications

- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or an Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
