About the Opportunity
The Quality Assurance Analyst strengthens the Research & Development team's quality assurance capabilities by planning, executing, and interpreting comprehensive test plans across multiple applications. This role supports software reliability and user experience by applying modern QA tools, automation, testing methodologies, and continuous improvement practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive testing plans and strategies covering UI, API, load, performance, integration, and regression testing across web and client/server applications.
- Manage QA processes, establish quality metrics, and promote industry best practices.
- Evaluate, recommend, and configure quality assurance tools and technologies.
- Develop and maintain automated front-end and back-end test suites using TestComplete and ReadyAPI.
- Install and configure test environments for application and software testing.
- Maintain scripts used to refresh and prepare testing environments.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze quality metrics over time to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify defects, improve testing practices, and enhance overall software quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or software development QA.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA principles.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in developing automated test cases using TestComplete and SQL.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and development management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and highly organized with strong communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of QA practices, team processes, and testing methodologies.
Pay
Salary range of $65,000–$75,000 annually.
