Duties and Responsibilities

Establish office procedures and filing systems.
Research assigned projects and prepare reports that may require specific computer programs.
Coordinate schedules or projects.
Handle customer service inquiries.
Prepare correspondence.
Maintain and organize files/records.
Maintain databases and generate reports.
Research data.

Education, Experience, Licensing

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and four years of experience.
Possession of a valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Ability to type 30 cwpm on a typing test administered by Lee County Human Resources is required.

Supplemental Information

Strong communication skills; verbal and written form.
Customer service skills.
Computer software knowledge; word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Use of office equipment; computers, copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
If you live in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, or Glades County, you are required to take a typing test before your application will be accepted for consideration.

Work Hours and Days

May vary to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Emergency Response/Recovery Activities

All County employees are required to work before, during, or after an emergency as needed.

Please note: Lee County BoCC's full benefits package only applies to regular Full-time positions and Part-time positions that are regularly scheduled to work 60 hours or more bi-weekly.
Medical benefits may be offered to On-Call, Temporary, Seasonal, and Intern employees who meet the Affordable Care Act eligibility criteria.
Lee County employees eligible to participate in the Florida Retirement System (FRS) are required to contribute 3% of each paycheck to FRS.
