Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary and middle school students with diverse learning and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), differentiated instruction, and engaging learning activities aligned with student goals.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust instructional strategies based on individual needs and data.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification in Multi-Categorical, ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe
- Experience supporting students in resource and/or multi-categorical special education settings preferred
