About the role

Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while supporting academic, behavioral, and developmental goals. Assess student progress, contribute to IEP development and implementation, and monitor educational outcomes through ongoing evaluation and collaboration. Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment utilizing appropriate behavior management strategies. Partner with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR/First Aid certification and Crisis Intervention training
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
