About the role

New Haven Public Schools seeks various Special Education vacancies. Compensation is contingent upon degree and years of experience, ranging from $51,421 to $104,297 for the 25-26 School Year and $53,220 to $108,047 for the 26-27 School Year. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a Special Education certification as required by Connecticut State Statutes
• Comprehensive Grades K-12 Certification (165) is preferred
