Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a Special Education certification as required by Connecticut State Statutes
- Comprehensive Grades K-12 Certification (165) is preferred
