Job Summary
Deliver direct and indirect Special Education services to students in a resource room setting, monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives, follow due process and IEP procedures and manage the paperwork, communicate effectively with families and staff, develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, direct the work of Paraeducator(s).
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability
- Create a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth
- Establish effective working relationships with students and parents
- Work collaboratively with other staff members
Requirements
- MN teaching licensure in Special Education
- The District may consider a Tier 1 or Tier 2 licensed candidate
- Experience working with a variety of disabilities
- The ability to deliver specialized instruction to meet the individual needs of these students
- Preference to individuals with experience supporting students with EBD, ASD and/or OHD
- Training for specific needs of the students in the program will be provided by the District
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
Qualifications
Education/Training/Experience: MN teaching licensure in Special Education; the District may consider a Tier 1 or Tier 2 licensed candidate.

Pay
Salary ranges from $51,000 to $120,813 depending upon education level and experience.
