Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality services to students in a K–12 setting. This role focuses on individualized instruction, IEP development, and collaboration with general education staff to support student success.

Position Details

  • Start Date: August 12, 2026

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

  • Contract Length: 39 weeks

  • Openings: 1

  • Setting: School-based (K–12)

  • Interview Required: Yes

  • Compensation: Local Pay - $55/hour

  • Travel Packages Available (housing and stipends included)

  • Overtime Rate: 1.5x

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs

  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff

  • Deliver small group and one-on-one instruction

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

  • Participate in team meetings and program planning

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

  • Valid state teaching license (California or eligibility required)

  • Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience preferred

  • Special Education certification preferred

  • Endorsements such as LBS1 are a plus

  • CPR certification and health requirements as applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance standards

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
