Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher - Secondary

The Antioch Unified School District (AUSD) is seeking an Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate.

About the role

The selected candidate will provide instruction to English Learners and support their academic success within the district's instructional framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum standards and meet the needs of English Learners.
• Provide differentiated instruction to address the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting English Learners.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of English Learner supports.

Requirements

• A Credential in Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate.
• At least three letters of recommendation from educators or administrators dated within the last year.
• A current resume detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
