• Provide high-quality instruction to elementary students in a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, engagement, and a love of learning
• Collaborate with teachers and community members to ensure continued development of relevant skills and authentic application
• Support students in developing a strong work ethic, pride in their work, and foundational skills valued by employers
• Develop, grow, and promote the program to include all learners
• Differentiate instruction to ensure success for every student

Requirements

• Current New York State certification in Special Education K-6 or K-12
• Knowledge of NYS Learning Standards and Assessments
• Familiarity with curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
