Special Education Teacher

About the role

We are currently seeking two teachers to join our Fargo, ND team. One position is for a General Education Teacher, and the other is for a Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Teach in a small classroom setting within behavioral health programs
• Support K-12 students receiving treatment
• Work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4 or 8-4:30 (depending on candidate preference)

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Active North Dakota teaching license required
• Candidates applying for the Special Education Teacher position must hold a North Dakota Special Education endorsement
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.
