About the role

EDU-AIDS is partnering with a local school district to hire two full-time Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year. These opportunities are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. We are looking for educators who are passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to each student's educational needs and learning goals.
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Audit student performance, monitor progress, and maintain accurate educational records.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, school staff, and families to promote student achievement.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies that encourage positive academic, behavioral, and social outcomes.
  • Attend IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences as required.
  • Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification.
  • At least one year of classroom experience in a Special Education setting.
  • Experience developing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and delivering individualized instruction.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding special education.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and student assessment.
