Key Responsibilities
- Foster respectful, supportive, and professional relationships with students, families, and team members
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs), including service schedules, accommodations, and appropriate curriculum modifications
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team model (including BCBA, OT, SLP, LSSP, and other specialists)
- Work directly with and provide ongoing support to the TEA Director, ensuring alignment with district and state compliance requirements
- Accurately and timely complete documentation and reporting required by school districts and the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Contribute to the development, review, and revision of IEP goals and objectives
- Implement and support individualized behavior intervention plans with fidelity
- Create and maintain updated program guides and data graphs following each student session
- Document sessions using clear, professional, and clinically appropriate language
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and FERPA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of all student and family information
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment
