About the role
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a resource classroom setting for the 2026-2027 school year. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with administrators, general education staff, and families to deliver high-quality educational services and individualized instruction that promotes student success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Participate in team meetings and student program planning
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
- Valid Arizona teaching certification meeting district requirements
- Special Education certification preferred
- Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
- Current CPR certification if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
