Paraprofessional Job Description

  • Assist in the educational and social development of students under direction and guidance of teacher and therapists
  • Assist in implementation and incorporation of goals and progression evaluation
  • Provide individual support based on individual student’s needs
  • Support students with emotional or behavior concerns and assist them in developing social skills
  • Assist with curriculum/administrative preparation
  • Model and promote empathy, compassion, and respect for gender, ethnic, religious, cultural, and learning diversity of students
