Responsibilities
- Provide legal defense in special education cases
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Represent clients in administrative hearings and court
- Collaborate with practice groups to address diverse legal issues
- Maintain a focus on client advocacy and education law
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience
- Experience in defense law, with consideration for plaintiff experience on a case-by-case basis
- Transferable skills from administrative law or education-related roles
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Barred in multiple states, including California, is a significant advantage
- Big Law experience is preferred
