What You Will Be Doing
- Drafting, revising, and overseeing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in complete accordance with Arizona state standards
- Managing accommodations and compliance requirements within a dynamic virtual learning model
- Facilitating high-energy, real-world virtual workshops on subjects such as entrepreneurship, storytelling, or wellness
- Providing one-on-one and small-group coaching to SPED students to strengthen confidence, executive functioning, and self-direction
- Working alongside our school team to refine how we support and empower exceptional learners

- Providing traditional academic instruction
- Operating in isolation from students
- Devising redundant paperwork, meetings, or micromanagement

Special Education Instructional Coach Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and compliance of all IEPs while involving students in transformative, life-skill-focused virtual experiences
Basic Requirements
- Reside in Arizona
- Hold a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience writing and updating IEPs
- Experience coordinating accommodations and handling SPED compliance tasks
- Prior experience working with students aged 8–14
- Strong virtual presence and communication skills; on-camera confidence is essential
- Thrive in a fast-paced, tech-powered school environment
