Special Education Ed Tech (1017)

Responsibilities

• Supporting Special Education Teachers with the implementation of students' Individual Education Plans
• Collecting data
• Following behavior support plans
• Instructing students in various content areas depending on schedule assignments
• Working closely with high school students with varying academic needs
• May need to work 1:1 or within small groups
• Lead the classroom if the teacher needs to step away due to a special education meeting
• Support students in all settings including the general education classroom

Requirements

• A current Maine Ed Tech certification
• Fingerprinting
