Special Education Director (40% FTE)

About the role

The West Bath School Administrative Unit is seeking a 40% FTE PK-12 Special Education Director to lead and support special services programs for all students needing specially designed instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate special services programs for all West Bath students requiring specially designed instruction.
• Use leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to ensure compliance with the mission, vision, and beliefs of the school district.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for Maine Department of Education’s Administrator of Special Education certificate (030).
• Have a valid CHRC certification.
