About the role
Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a Lower School Special Education Co-Teacher/Paraprofessional.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the special education lead teacher in the general and special education class setting
- Support children with special needs in classrooms
- Deliver a variety of accommodations in multiple settings
- Collaborate with various teachers and school leaders
- Be a strong advocate for student needs
Requirements
- A job-related Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with delivering a variety of accommodations in multiple settings is an asset
- School-related experience is desired
