High School Special Education Co-Teacher/Paraprofessional

About the role

This position involves partnering with the special education lead teacher in both general and special education classes to support students with special needs. These students may have conditions such as hearing loss, vision loss, autism, health impairments, language disorders, or cognitive weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of accommodations in multiple settings
• Collaborate with various teachers and school leaders
• Be a strong advocate for student needs

Requirements

• A job-related Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with delivering a variety of accommodations in multiple settings is an asset
• School-related experience is desired
