About the role

This position involves partnering with the special education lead teacher in the general and special education class setting.

Responsibilities

• Support children with special needs in classrooms who have academic and social issues related to hearing loss, vision loss, autism, health impairments, language disorders, or cognitive weaknesses.
• Deliver a variety of accommodations in multiple settings.
• Collaborate with various teachers and school leaders.
• Be a strong advocate for student needs.

Requirements

• A job-related Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• School-related experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Experience with delivering a variety of accommodations in multiple settings is an asset.
